The covid19 pandemic has left learning institutes with no option but to shift their brick-and-mortar schools into online platforms. Many students think that they were the only party suffering. However, the reality is different. When students had the option to take the best online exam help, teachers were still suffering. They were not tech-savvy but still had to take their exams and learn to handle the tech devices at the same time. We know the education industry was already anticipating this change but not the way it happened. The transition was quick and left us all shocked.
However, now, all of us are competent enough to use these devices. Months ago when the coronavirus stats came down, these institutes again planned to get back to normal but we think it is too early to make this decision.
There are a number of benefits online classes bring and I believe we must consider them. To be honest, I don’t recommend schools, colleges, and universities to go back to physical classes. I still recommend the not-so-new, online mode of learning. Especially for exams because it has made learning a lot easier for everyone.
If you don’t agree with what I’m saying, check out the below reasons why institutes should still consider taking online exams. I am sure you’ll definitely get convinced.
- To Stop The Spread Of The Deadly Disease
I know, I know that we are pretty much out of the pandemic but don’t forget, the cases are still surging. For a few days the virus rests and the rest of the days it’s back to play. In such situations, hosting physical classes is not a good option. No matter how many antigen tests you get the students done, they can still catch the virus and transfer them to others. So, for now, I cannot suggest going back to brick-and-mortar schools. If you really want to come out of this exhausting lockdown, flight, school, etc. closure, you’ll have to give it some time.
- Online Exams Are Affordable
The next very prominent reason! I know all of you can relate to how much money online exams have saved you. Are you paying the electricity fees to your child’s school? You are not, right? We love how the school fee vouchers have finally started coming down to tuition fees only. Apart from this, the cost of notes, textbooks, van fees, etc. are the additional costs that parents don’t have to pay anymore. According to research, there are more students enrolling for online courses now just because of their cost affordability.
- Streamline Working For Teachers
Next in the pipeline, we have the ease of work that teachers and administrators have got just because of online exams. Now teachers don’t have to spend hours making papers and results and the same goes for the administration department. One of my friends who works at the admin department of a nearby school is happy that she doesn’t have to stand for hours in front of the printer to get printouts. Checking papers, markings, grading, etc. have all gotten very easy with online examinations. The good news is that they all are now also happy with this new mode of learning. So, I see no point in going back.
- They Are More Environment Friendly
Environmental activists are also happy with academic classes and exams turning online and of course why wouldn’t they be? This mode of learning is helping them save trees and electricity. Many of us speak about deforestation but have you ever done anything to stop it? If not then this is your time to do so! Remember, Sustainability and fighting for mother earth is not a duty of just a few, it is a societal goal and we all must play our part in that. If our one effort can make a big contribution to saving our earth, then why should we run against it?
- Offers The Comfort Of Home
Didn’t you enjoy working from home during the workplace closure? You did, right? Out of the 85 IT professionals we interviewed, 81 percent told us that they had a great time working from home. Only 19 percent wanted to return to their office. The similar is the case with school staff and students. Students love taking their classes and attempting their exams from their favorite couch and teachers love to manage a few chores with their online lecturing. The place and schedule flexibility are probably one of the favorite things of students and teachers about the covid19 pandemic. We all know there is no comfort better than home and there is so no place as peaceful as your house. So, why not go for an option that provides us with learning and comfort both? That too at the same time!
- Better Exam Invigilation
The educationists we know, all of them have the same verdict that online exams can better invigilate the candidates. The strict eye of proctoring software, face authentication, and secure browsing keep students away from cheating and track all suspicious activities. If you’re teaching students who you know are gurus of such activities, online exams are the best way to catch them.
- Saves Teachers And Students A lot Of Time
All the time that goes into traveling, assemblies, and asking students to stay silent can be utilized in a lot of work actually. So, make the decision yourself and tell us, isn’t it a good option to cut down all the extra time and consider conducting online exams?
- It Is The Demand Of Future
As said in the introduction, offline classes turning online were already anticipated. However, the plan was to introduce this new way of learning in 2030 but it happened a decade earlier. This makes it clear that your future might not have offline classes. Therefore, the good idea is to stick to online classes, courses, and exams and prepare students for the future.
Conclusion
I don’t think there is any doubt now about considering taking online examinations. However, if still there is, let us know in the comment section. We can give you more excuses and convince the authorities. From taking the best online exam help to aiding scholars make results, online exams are the solutions to many problems.
